OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
- We believe the Bible to be the infallible Word of God, that it is His inspired Word, and that it is of supreme and final authority. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter. 1:20-21)
- We believe that God is the creator and ruler of the universe. (Psalm 90:2; Genesis 1:1)
- We believe that man was created in the image of God. (Genesis 1:26 & 27)
- We believe in one God, existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and equally one God. (2 Corinthians 13:13; 1 John 5; John 3:34-35; John 14:16-17, 26; 15:26; 16:7)
- We believe Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He led a sinless life, took on all of our sins on the cross, died and rose again. He is seated at the right hand of God the Father interceding on our behalf and will return again soon. (Luke 1:26-35; Philippians. 2:5-8; Mark 10:45; Acts 2:22-24; 1 Peter 2:24; John 1:18; Romans 8:34; Philippians 3:20-21; Hebrews 1:3; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Matthew 24:44)
- We believe that all people are born with a sinful nature in need of the saving power of Jesus Christ through His shed blood on the cross. (Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:1-2)
- We believe that salvation is a free gift and cannot be earned. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
- We believe that the body of Christ was created for the purpose of glorifying God through worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry and evangelism. (Revelation 4:11; Colossians 1:6; Ephesians 1:11; Psalm 95:6; 1 John 1:3; Romans 12:5; 1 John 3:1; Colossians 2:7; Ephesians 4:22-24; John 17:18; Acts 20:24)
- We believe that Christians are called to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations and to the ends of the earth. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 1:8)
